Rating Controller

Introduction

The Rating controller provides access to crowd-sourced ratings for media containers. Ratings are collected from end-users in public-facing areas such as press areas or mediahubs, where viewers can rate content on a scale from 1 to 5.

Each rating entry is scoped by an identifier (e.g. the name of the public area or mediahub), so you can compare ratings across different publication contexts for the same media container. The response returns the current average rating and the total number of votes cast.
