The AdmiralCloud Smartcropping Service allows you to use embedlinks for images with certain parameters that can change properties of your image “on the fly”, e.g. change the size, use automatic cropping etc.

Caching

The first cache is Cloudfront, which will cache items based on the path for the amount of time set in Cache-Control Header (currently 60) seconds. After those 60 seconds CF will ask the origin again. The origin has also a caching mechanism and if the image will be delivered from this cache if available.You can disable caching using “refresh=true” as URL query parameter. Please note that this will not refresh the CDN cache, but only the cache on the origin.
